WHAT IS RICHTEK SAMPLES POLICY?
RICHTEK offers a limited amount of free samples to qualified customers. Website registration is required to request free samples, and you must use a company or university email domain address when registering. Use of a free or 3rd party email account is not allowed for samples requests.
WHICH RICHTEK PRODUCTS CAN I SAMPLE?
We offer many products for sample request. However, there are still some parts are not provided. If you would like to request a part which is not available, you can contact our authorized distributors.
HOW DO I REQUEST SAMPLES ONLINE?
Step 1: Locate the part(s) you need, either from the Product Page, or by choosing the Samples link at the top of the RICHTEK home page. Once you have chosen your parts, parts will then be added to My Richtek / My Sample Cart.
Step 2: After you have chosen your part(s), click on the checkout button.
Step 3: If you are already registered, you will be prompted to login. If you are not registered on the RICHTEK website, you will be asked to register and complete the creation process. There is an easy 4 step creation process to complete your sample request. You will receive an order acknowledgment after your sample request has been received and a ship notice email when it is shipped.
WHICH COUNTRIES ARE ALLOWED TO PLACE SAMPLE REQUESTS?

CAN I REQUEST SAMPLES WITH A 3RD PARTY EMAIL ACCOUNT (SUCH AS YAHOO OR HOTMAIL)?
We're sorry, but online sample requests will only be accepted from valid email addresses that originate from a company (example: joe.smith@ABCcompany.com) or from an educational institution (example: joe.smith@ABCuniversity.edu). RICHTEK cannot accept sample requests from accounts that have been created using third-party email providers, such as Yahoo, Hotmail, MSN, and AOL.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER BEFORE I CAN REQUEST SAMPLES?
Yes. If you are not already registered on RICHTEK website, then you will be asked to register. If you are already registered, you will be prompted to login with your username and password. Only one account per person is allowed.
HOW MANY PIECES AM I ALLOWED TO REQUEST?
RICHTEK offers a limited amount of free samples to qualified customers. Due to the large demand for our product samples we ask that you limit your sample request to 5 pieces per part. Should your design needs require additional product quantities, you can contact one of our authorized distributors.
HOW MUCH DO PRODUCT SAMPLES COST?
All sample requests placed online are free of charge.
HOW DO I KNOW IF YOU RECEIVED MY SAMPLE REQUEST?
You will receive an order confirmation e-mail from RICHTEK, and it will take minutes to receive the e-mail. If you do not receive the order confirmation e-mail, you can check the request status by visiting the My Richtek / Order History page. If you do not receive the order confirmation e-mail, please contact our customer service department.
WHAT IF I FORGET MY PASSWORD?
If you are a registered user on the RICHTEK web site and forget your password, please click Forget Password located on the login page.
HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY SAMPLE REQUEST?
If you have placed a sample request and would like to check the status, simply visit My Richtek / Order History page. You will need to log in to access your request status.
HOW DO I TRACK MY SAMPLE SHIPMENT?
Visit My Richtek / Order History page to track your sample shipment. The status of shipped samples will show “Shipped.”
ARE ALL SAMPLES SHIPPED AS REQUESTED?
RICHTEK reviews sample requests prior to shipping and may cancel a sample request if the sample process is being misused or sample product is no longer available.
WHY WAS AN INVOICE NOT SENT FOR MY REQUEST?
Since it is free to request samples, invoices will not be provided. To find your request information, simply visit My Richtek / Order History page.
WHEN WILL MY ITEMS BE SHIPPED?
Most in stock items will be shipped within 24 hours after receiving your request. After placing your request, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with details of your request and expected delivery. Note: We do take requests for items that are not in stock, so the delivery date will be scheduled once items becomes available.
IS THE ONLINE SAMPLE SYSTEM AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK, AND IF SO, CAN I GET PRODUCT SHIPPED OUT ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY?
The online sample system will be available for sample requests and checking account and request status 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, our shipping departments are only open Monday through Friday.
HOW IS THE DELIVERY DATE DETERMINED?
RICHTEK ships samples as soon as they are available in the warehouse - on a first come, first served basis.
The delivery dates we provide are current and can vary over time as product schedules change and as new product becomes available to ship. When RICHTEK ships products from a warehouse outside of your country, it may take up to 4-5 business days for the shipment to reach your country and clear customs.
